Because Bape are such a niche streetwear brand, they want to maintain that element of exclusivity, and therefore do not advertise. After conducting primary research, it was found that some people were attracted to the brand more because of the exclusivity. Whereas, notably more people suggested that Bape improve by expanding the brand, and making it more accessible and visible to the UK consumer (Wong, 2017).
